A large jewelry and silversmith shop was founded in London at 112 Regent Street in 1880. The original partners were William Gibson and John Lawrence Langman. In 1898 the company was transformed into a limited liability company called Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd. converted. The company was renamed Garrard & Co Ltd. in 1952. merged
