    Description

    A rare and pretty antique glass vase, signed Daum at the bottom ( engraving signature ), mounted with wrought iron circle decorated in the Art Deco taste and period.
    France, circa 1930.
    This pretty vase was sold at Sotheby’s New York sale number 240 ( or lot number 240 ) “ The Andy Warhol collection ).
    The original label for the sale is shown in most of the photos.
    The wrought iron work is very fine, probably by Edgar Brandt ( no visible signature on the iron ).
    The exterior surface of the glass is in some place rough and some fine ( in texture ).
    Blown glass.
    Very thick glass.
