Royal Dux Bohemia Majolica Figurine.
Children Sitting on a Bench by an
Open Tree Trunk.
Unmarked but attributed to Bohemia
almost certainly Royal Dux Majolica.
19th Century.

13.5" high
7.25" wide.
6 1/4" front to back.
Extremely delightful piece.
The children look like
a couple
of little Mozarts (Mr. & Mrs.).
And in really nice condition.

I have also  found other pieces
that look like the
same maker all described as Royal Dux Majolica ..
Open tree trunks..similar footed
base on some,
same colors..One of those with a
red number 29
appearing by same hand and color as the number 27
on this piece.That same piece having an
Ink stamp of a
Crown over
Acorn
enclosed E
surrounded by the words
Royal Dux Bohemia.
