special antique Majolica Cheese Dome
Listed w/ photo in Jeffrey B. Snyder's "Majolica" book page 168 , value of 00.00 +
base has yellow edge, mottled green & brown on top of base, pink swirls around edge
dome has white ground, 4 cobalt blue panels - 2 w/ birds & 2 w/ water lilies, trimmed in yellow w/ flower finial. Deep pink bow on top of each panel
bowl measures 5 3/4"
at the base, 7 1/4" across the top & almost 2" high
w/ the dome the piece is about 7 1/2" high
unmarked - per the Snyder book this is unattributed

Very good aged condition. Chips inner ring of base & crazing. Some other areas of paint loss & chips.
