    Description

    This was part of a family estate.  They were world travelers and spent time living in Paris and we have many items from that period.  This fine rare two-person tea set, by Tonnel, 12 Rue de la Paix, Paris, has a
    brown textured leather case with a front locking plate.  The interior is lined with chamois and has containers, pockets designed to fit all of the accessories, neatly and snugly.
    The box measures 8" x 4" x 5.5"
    The items in the set  include a saucepan with detachable handle and lid, burner with stand, glass bottle/silver lid, pair of stacking cups w/ detachable wicker-covered handles, saucers, spoons and tea caddy w/ lid, and a sugar bowl.  many pieces stamped with maker's name.
    many items that have been stacked within are still very bright silver.  I'm not sure this has every been used, and has just aged over time while stored.  I have not attempted to polish, nor do I have any status to the condition of the silver/silver plate.  Please consult the pics.
