Webster Wilcox "English Flutes" Silver Plate Tea Coffee Cream SugarPots are 12-1/2 and 9-1/2” tall, creamer 6” and sugar is 6” tall. Style is English Flute #8082. Has very minor scratches, looks to have been slightly used.
The international Silver Company was formed in 1898 by various independent New England silversmiths that joined themselves together to form a company that became the world's largest manufacturer of silverware.
The trademark was changed to Webster Wilcox in 1961 when the Wilcox Silver Plate Co., E.G. Webster & Son and several other divisions of International Silver were consolidated. Webster-Wilcox was acquired by Oneida in 1981.
Marked Webster Wilcox International Silver 8001 on the Large Pot, 8002 on the small pot, 8003 on the bottom of the sugar bowl; 8004 on the bottom of the creamer. Pattern #'s 162F, 3571, 3572, 8000, 8001, 8001-4, 8001/4, 8002, 8003, 8004, 8081, 8082 are called "English Flutes".
