Have been restored it says on labels ..I do see the leaf in picture #8 reattached..And circular bit to left of snake reattached on one and not there on the other..basicallythese are in the same condition as when bought from Lynda Willauder Antiques in Historic Nantucketin July 1998.

    Palissy French Majolica Jardinieres with
    Snake and Nest of Eggs (2)
    c.1880-
    Size varying around:
    7" wide.
    5 3/8" high.
    6 1/4" front to back.
    These were bought as you see them in
    the Historic District of Nantucket Ma.
    on July 23rd 1998.
    Please read condition report.
    Fantastic pieces.
    Originally these were also made
    in a larger size.
