*I’ve recently been introduced and become familiar with the meteorite community/industry and I’m sad to report 99.999% of these meteorites for sale are not meteorites. They just don’t fall that often let alone be witnessed falls . I will never be part of such a deceitful community/industry . If you see a seller selling multiple meteorites that should be enough for your common sense. That being said don’t let any individual claim to be a meteorite expert ! Common sense says again , There’s no such individual. A expert on elemental composition , yes! But meteorites, not! There’s only 1000 falls on a high scientific estimate per 100 years , yet you can find thousands for sale at this minute , do the math . It’s a sad industry , I know . That’s why there will be no meteorite expert , there’s not enough data ! I highly recommend you hope to see your own meteorite fall and find rather than buying a meteorite off eBay .
