    Description

    Showing now this beautiful tea set with the crest for the clan Calhoun.  Made by Martin Hall & Co. in the late 1800s it has the teapot, creamer and sugar bowl.  It is chased with engraved crests on each piece.  The tea pot has the crest of the clan Calhoun with its motto “Si Je Puis” ( “if I can” ), the crest on the sugar is plumes with “Libertas” beneath and the  pitcher has an engraving of a Stag.  The set is in very good condition with a shallow dent on the creamer and a very small flat area on the teapot, wear is
    consistent
    with age.  The teapot is 7.75” to the top of the knob.  It has been lightly polished.   Please see all images for more detail and ask any questions.
