    A charming Daum sculpture of an elephant with laying down with its trunk extended, depicted here in the lighter hue of the amber shade. The result of careful craftsmanship, the Elephant is created using the rare & ancient "Pâte de Verre" technique, which dates back to 5,000 BC. It involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold, resulting in intense colors against a subtly shaded background. Handmade in France.
