Description
B&G Ulta-Lite 2400 ULV FoggerThis fogger provides the operator with an ideal unit to dispense chemicals for insect control, odor control, disinfecting and many other applications. The heavy-duty foggers from B&G are used for flying insect control around the world. The
B&G Ulta-Lite 2400 fogger
features one piece rotation-molded construction for strength and durability and a large opening for ease of filling and emptying. The nozzle is preset at a 45 degree angle to direct flow of the fog upward for improved circulation.
The heavy-duty foggers from B&G are used for flying insect control around the world. They are ideal for commercial and residential accounts because of their compact size, stability, and the 1.5 gal. capacity.
The droplet size available with the 2400 models extends from a power-mist (56 micron droplets) to ULV (20-35 micron droplets). The output and droplet size of these models can be easily selected with the adjustment knob on the nozzle.
Each fogger is individually built and tested for performance.
110v
Works For:
Flying insects and crawling insects such as ants, cockroaches, fleas, food product pests (grain beetles, weevils and moths), fabric pests such as clothes moths, drywood termites, silverfish, etc.
Where to Use It:
Attics, crawl spaces and other areas where you need large volumetric coverage and where there is limited accessibility.
Rate of Application and Directions:
The operator can adjust the liquid flow to dispense materials at average droplet sizes under 20 microns(water based chemicals at room temperature). Droplets of this size remain suspended in the air for extended periods of time and are used primarily for insecticide applications to control flying insects.
Droplet size will increase as the flow rate is increased and will average approximately 80 microns when the liquid flow is adjusted for maximum output. Larger droplets are dispersed by air flow and can settle on surfaces. This characteristic makes them useful for applying disinfectant, deodorizers and chemicals used for coating insides of heat ducts or other surfaces.
Conduct a pretreatment walk-through and inspection to ensure that nothing is left to chance. Shut off pilot lights and gas flames. Turn off exhaust fans and air vents to keep material from drifting out of desired areas. Set up andy necessary air circulating instruments, such as fans, in the areas to be treated.
Caution: Always wear the appropriate protective clothing as specified in the chemical's product label and follow the label instructions.
Fill the unit with the designated amount of chemical
Place the machine in the appropriate location for the fogging application
Set the desired flow rate by turning the liquid flow adjustment knob located at the nozzle to the desired position. The output chart on the unit should be used as a guide.
Turn the unit on and operate for the time calculated.
Prior to turning the unit off, turn the liquid flow adjustment to the "off" position.
The fogger delivers a wet fog. Care must be taken to prevent wetting action on the surfaces near the fogging machine. Time the application carefully to ensure that the proper dosage of material is used.
